...Perfume Review

Hey lovelies! How is everyone? Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, I've been busy working and in the evenings I've been spending time with my boyfriend and looking at holidays, exciting! :) I've also been discussing hair styles with my mum (as she's a hairdreser), I'm getting a full fringe!!! Eeeeeeep, way too excited, I'm having my hair cut and coloured today so I will post a photograph of my hair and post about it and show you all! Fingers crossed it doesn't go wrong! I'm so excited :) Anyway as I have a day off today, I thought I'd post a review on the two perfumes I got for christmas, I love them both they smell absolutely amazing and are so fresh! I got two different types of perfumes, one from my mum and one from my boyfriends mum and I can never decide which one I want to wear are they're both so lovely!
This is the perfume my boyfriends mum got me from The Body Shop, called Moroccan Rose with a matching shower gel as well which both smell divine! Considering it's not a really expensive perfume or brand, the scent lasts the whole day and I don't have to keep re applying it which is amazing! I especially love how I have a matching shower gel because if I'm just lazing indoors all day and don't wear any perfume, I still smell of Moroccan Rose :) As I got two perfumes, this is the one I wear during the day doing everyday things, such as going to work, shopping and seeing the boyfriend etc as I save the expensive perfume for nights out and special occassions. I know for a fact this perfume isn't going to last long because I love it sooo much, and may have to pop into The Body Shop and purchase another one when it runs out! I definitely recommend this if you like quite a sweet, girly, fresh scent which isn't too strong.

All you bloggers might definitely recognise this perfume! The most famous, DOT by Marc Jacobs. I specifically put this on my christmas list because I'm such a big fan of his perfumes! I've previously had Daisy which I love and always run out of so this year I thought I'd try something different and I'm SO glad I did. It's kinda weird because I asked for it even though I didn't know what it smelt like, I just thought the box and the bottle looked pretty (I always seem to do that) and I also thought, I've never smelt a horrible Marc Jacbos perfume anyway so what have I got to lose! My mum got me this one, and it's only the small bottle because they're so pricey which I completely understand :) As you can see by the photo, I've used a little bit of it so far because I really want to save it for special occassions and things. It's such a good perfume and for the price it is, I don't want to waste it and wear it everyday and it being gone in a couple of months! It also looks pretty on my dressing table, I love the designs of his bottles I think they're so quirky as well :) Overall though, I definitely recommend this perfume to ANYONE who is looking for a decent one that lasts a long time but smells amazing. It's quite a strong scent and you don't need to spray loads on because only a couple of sprays does the trick which is fantastic :)
Is there any perfumes that you girls recommend or like? :)

...Motel Rocks Sale

Hey girls! How's everyone? Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, been really busy working, had a job interview and it's all been quite mad and this hasn't really been my main priority. The interview was for a manager position at Sole Trader, which is what I mentioned in my previous post and I cannot believe they even considered my application! I mean, manager of a store!? WHOAH. I have another interview as they do 2 for the manager position which is going to be quite scary as it's with the area manager, but fingers crossed I get the job! It would start my year off perfectly :) anyway, now I have a free evening and can relax a little, I can finally make a post! :) I don't really need that many clothes as I have loads and got quite a few nice bits and bobs for christmas, and I bought a couple of things a few days ago too. But I was looking on the Motel Rocks website on the sale items and omggg it's amazing! The dresses are absolutley gorgeous and it's making me really tempted which is bad haha. Here are some of my favourites :) sorry this post isn't very exciting! But would love to know what you all think!

...Recent Purchases

Hiya, how is everyone? Today was my day off so I thought I'd have a wonder round town at the sales (even though they drive me bonkers) and hand a few CV's around, starting off one of my new years resolutions! They're looking for a management trainee in Sole Trader, the shoe company so I thought it was worth a try and handed my CV in there, hoping to hear back from them! I was also searching around for AGES for some Vans in the sale as I don't really want to spend about £50 on a pair, especially as they make my feet look giant. I tried Schuh, Office and Sole Trader but unfortunately there was nothing :( however in Office, the guy that worked in there forced me to try on a pair (which weren't in the sale) and walk around in them & they didn't suit me at all. He was blatently trying to chat me up as he was chatting to me for ages, saying how nice they looked and that they suited my 'nicely shaped legs' it was pretty embarassing tbh as I couldn't leave! In the end though, I didn't end up buying any as the ones in the sale were all bright colours which wasn't really what I was looking for which is annoying :(
Although, I've wanted a chequered shirt for a while now actually, as the one I have at the moment is getting quite old and I'm going off the colour slightly. So I found this one in Primark reduced to £5!! Such a bargain, although I don't really wear bright colours that much I always stick to neutral, but when I tried this shirt on, it actually looked really nice and I think it will go well with my leather jacket and black skinny jeans!

The I popped into H&M to look in the sales and there wasn't really much tbh. I found this cardigan though which ofc wasn't in the sale. I've wanted one like this for a while because most of mine are really thick and knitted and they don't fit under any of my jackets which is really annoying. So I bought this one, it was only £19.99 which isn't too bad for the quality and it also has the really nice elbow pad which I think makes it look slightly less plain. There were soo many choices of different colours but I thought I'd get quite a plain colour so it goes with everything :) I tried it on underneath my leather jacket and it fit perfectly which I'm sooo happy about as I can finally wear my jacket without just a t-shirt underneath and not freeze to death!

I'd love to know what you guys think :) also, not sure if it's just me but it won't let me upload photos onto my blog, the "browse" button has gone so I can't select any photographs from my computer, has this happened to anyone else? :( it's been like this since Saturday and I was hoping it would have been fixed by now!

...Harry Potter World

Hey girls! I know this isn't a fashion post or anything like that, but I wanted to show you guys the experience I had at Harry Potter World yesterday! It was sooo amazing, one of the best experiences ever and I definitely recommend  you go if you haven't already been! I went with my sister and dad, and it only took an hour and a half to get there from Southampton which isn't too bad, so that went quite quickly! :) Although, the best thing about the journey was that my sister had a shout out on Radio 1 (as she texted in telling them we were on our way to HPW) and they phoned her and she had a live interview on the radio about it! It was amazing and so funny, definitely made the journey go quicker and the start of the day a lot more motivating as it was about 8 in the morning haha. Overall though, the day was literally one of the best experiences ever and the gift shop is also amazing! Slightly pricey, but I bought a chocolate frog (nerdy I know) and a postcard to put on my new notice board in my room to remind me of the great day :) I'm not going to bore you to death with about 200 photos I took haha, I'll just show you a couple of my favourites!

Sorry if I've just bored you to death with these photos, but if you have an interest for Harry Potter you will realise how amazing these actually are! Thanks for reading :D

...Mulberry Spring Summer 2013

Hey girls! How's everyone? Had such a mad day at work today I'm absolutely shattered, worked 9-6 and only had a 20 minute break because it was so busy and now I just want to flop in bed and sleep. It also doesn't help that I have to be up at 7am tomorrow, BUT it's for a good reason, I'm off to Harry Potter world for the day! Literally can't wait (I'm such a nerd when it comes to HP). Anyway on a different note, I am a huge fanatic and obsessive freak when it comes to Mulberry bags (or even any bags) I have a crazy obsession and absolutely love them, so when Mulberry posted their Spring/Summer 2013 designed by Emma Hill, I nearly peed my self! I don't know why I love them so much, I think it's because the style of them is so classy which is my sort of style and the colours of them are so gorgeous! One of my new years resolutions (as you might have seen on a previous post) is to save up a Mulberry fund, so I can finally own one of the beauties, my life would literally be complete! Here are my favourites from the collection :) what do you guys think?

The white bag is definitely my favourite! Whats yours? Would love to hear from you all and I promise, I will read every single one of your comments! :)

...17 Barely Blush Lipstick

For christmas my boyfriends nan bought me a Boots voucher bless her, as she knows I love my make-up! I really wanted some new lipstick anyway so I thought this was the perfect chance to splash out and get a decent one. The brand is 17, and this was £6.99 and the colour is called Barely Blush. I have loads of different types of lipsticks and colours but I've always fancied a light pink colour, and I've tried Kate Moss' collection for Rimmel but they didn't really have the colour I was looking for. I'm so glad I found this one though, it's the perfect shade and suits my skin tone perfectly, it literally took me ages to find the right colour I wanted as there were loads to choose from! (You should have seen my hand it had lipstick testers all over it!) However I suffer from getting really dry and cracked lips in the winter, and lipstick always seems to show this, but when I tried this on it didn't show them as much and I also have a really nice pale lipgloss which I would put over the top, just to make my lips looks smoother and less dry (I will post a picture soon) Overall though, I'm a huge fan of this brand and will definitely start using there products a lot more, I definitely recommend you all to go out and buy this! :) What do you guys think?

...Black Skinny Jeans

Hi bloggers! How are you all? :) On my recent trip to Bath with my boyfriend I purchased a black pair of skinny jeans from Topshop. I've actually wanted some for a while because I think they go with anything and they change the style of any outfit I figured :) I'm very picky when it comes to buying skinny jeans because I like them to be skin tight on my legs and also round my waist and as my legs are quite slim, it's quite difficult to find some that don't end up going baggy and horrible :( But these ones from Topshop are perfect, I am literally so happy I found them! They fit perfectly and sit nicely on my waist as well without having to hitch them up all the time, definitely in love! I have so many tops that go with them but they're quite old, (even though I wore my black peplum with it a couple of nights a go and it actually looked really nice) so I'm browsing on different websites for some possible new ones, and here are some of my favourites that would go nicely with them! Enjoy :)

Floral cami top: TOPSHOP/ I think a great cami top like this would look great with skinny jeans because it will make the outfit look softer. As black skinny jeans are quite hard, a light pink floral embellished top would make it more girly and sophisticated. I would definitely wear this with mine and pair it with my new leather jacket with the fur collar :)
Studded overside shirt: TOPSHOP/ I love chequered shirts, especially this one because of the colours and the detail on the shoulders. People usually see chequered shirts to be quite tomboy, but I think with the added detail, it makes the outfit look more trendy. I also love the contrast between the really tight jeans and the oversized shirt together!
Sweetheart lace peplum: Miss Selfridge/ I am a huge fan of peplum tops because I think they make any figure look amazing! I especially like this one from Miss Selfridge because of the shape as it's different to the usual and I love the material and colour :) skinny jeans with this top would be a great evening outfit with some heels! May have to purchase this!
NYC vest: TOPSHOP/ I'm a huge fan of tops like this, as they're simple and go with a lot. I also really want to go to NY, its a huge dream of mine so this relates to me! This would be more of a casual outfit for during the day, but with some cute accessories and little pumps, it would look great for any occasion!
Heart knit jumper: River Island/ I'm not usually a fan of jumpers like this, but I surprisingly like this one. I think it's because it's quite simple and not too vibrant which is my style, and the fact that the colours contrast nicely with the skinnies! Only thing is, I'm not sure on the length as it does look quite long (being short has massive disadvantages haha) so if it was that little bit shorter, I'd probably like it a lot more.
